Its freezing at the moment and that only calls for one thing.. Hot Chocolate Bombs!
These are so much fun to make and are so pretty. They're definitely better than your average hot chocolate! The taste is super creamy and velvety. Just how a hot chocolate should be!
You can jazz these up however you like. I have gone for milk, white and dark chocolate and white and milk hot chocolate powder! So versatile and perfect for the holidays. It will definitely get you in the spirit!
Recipe
A fun and exiting take on a hot chocolate! Hot chocolate, marshmallows and sprinkles coated in a hard chocolate shell!

Cool Time: 2 hour

Ingredients
For the chocolate bombs:
100g dark chocolate
100g milk chocolate
100g white chocolate
8 tablespoons hot chocolate
40 mini marshmallows
Sprinkles
Method
1. Using a clean paper towel, wipe clean three 5cm silicone mould trays.
2. Microwave the hot dark, milk and white chocolate until melted. I usually do 30 second intervals.
3. Using a teaspoon, add one teaspoon on melted chocolate into each dome. If you are wanting to make marbled hot chocolate bombs then you can add half a teaspoon of melted white chocolate and half a spoon of melted dark chocolate.
4. Spread evenly around the dome and refrigerate for 1 hour.
5. Once completely chilled, carefully remove the domes from the moulds and add in one tablespoon of hot chocolate to a dome half. Add in some sprinkles and 5 mini marshmallows (if you can fit more in then that's great too!).
6. Place a small frying pan over a low heat for about 2 minutes and then remove off the heat. Place and empty dome on the frying pan for a second - just to melt the edges very slightly, and place on top of your other dome half creating a hot chocolate bomb. Continue to do so with remaining domes.
7. Drizzle on some melted hot chocolate and some sprinkles. Place back in the fridge for another hour.
8. How to make the hot chocolate: Add some milk into a mug and heat for 1-2 minutes, or until very hot. Remove from microwave and drop in a hot chocolate bomb. Stir until everything is melted and mixed well.
9. Enjoy!
Notes
Wrap the hot chocolate bombs in air tight bags and store for up to 8 months.
